Lifestyle Newborn Session in Grayslake

I recently had the pleasure of meeting this incredibly sweet family in their beautiful Grayslake home for a Lifestyle Newborn Session before Christmas. There’s something so special about capturing those first precious days right where life unfolds—snuggled on the couch, in the nursery you lovingly prepared, and surrounded by the people who already adore your little one.

Before the session, we worked together to coordinate colors, props, and the overall style using the detailed questionnaire they completed. This helped us create a meaningful and cohesive look that truly reflected their family. The Session Guide I sent ahead of time was also a big help and helped ease some of the natural stress that comes with welcoming a new baby. My goal is always to make the experience relaxed, comfortable, and full of sweet moments.

One of my favorite parts of this session was meeting their three older kiddos. They were so sweet, so loving toward their new sibling, and we had such a fun time capturing their personalities. Watching their excitement and tenderness was truly heartwarming, and I know these memories will mean so much as they grow.

This session was such a joy from start to finish, and I’m so grateful I was able to document this beautiful chapter for their family.
